Police have released the name of the person who died following a crash on Stancombe Road, Flat Bush on October 18,.
He was 27-year old Robert Peter Silva-Ewins from Flat Bush.
“Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Mr Silva-Ewins,” a police spokesman said.
The Serious Crash Unit is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Just a week later, another motorcyclist was killed following a fatal crash involving a bus on Ti Rakau Drive last Wednesday afternoon. It claimed the life of 54-year-old Brett Howard Dodson.
