Peter Harding of Bucklands Beach , has been putting on a huge display of Christmas lights on his property for around 30 years.
He also dresses up as Santa and throws lollies out to the kids who’ve come to see his display. Each year he stocks up with a whopping 300 kilos of lollies, provided off his own back.
This Christmas will be Peters’ last bringing goodwill to all. Now is the time for him to give it away due his advancing age, and the scale of the job.
The display and Peter’s generosity be sadly missed by locals, due to being a community feature for so long, and the origin of many happy Christmas memories.
