All systems are go to have Naisi Chen (Labour) and Christopher Luxon (National), the two Botany electorate candidates, appear at the Life Growth Community Trust Botany Meet the Candidates evening tonight.
The incumbent Botany MP Jami-Lee Ross announced on September 15 he would not be contesting the seat at the General Election next month. Ross will go on Advance NZ’s party list and is also counting on his co-leader Billy Te Kahika winning the Te Tai Tokerau seat.
Meanwhile, numbers for the event are limited to 100 due to Covid-19 restrictions. Organisers are urging residents attend and check out the key candidates at 7.30pm, East City Wesleyan Church Centre , 219 Burswood Drive, Botany.
