Police are responding to reports a car has hit a pedestrian on Reeves Road in Pakuranga at 5.40pm.
One person is in a serious condition and has been taken to hospital.
There will be cordons in place around the Pakuranga Plaza for the next few hours and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
