Howick Village market-goers were treated to proclamations from our resident town crier Jim Donald and his Palmerston North counterpart Lyal Brenton.
Brenton’s wonderful green ensemble is Manawatu’s colour and signifies the ranges and farmland of his region.
He sees his town crier role as a city ambassador and seeks to promote Palmerston North at every event he attends.
