Several vehicles have been damaged in a crash on a busy east Auckland road this afternoon, August 1.
A photo provided to the Times of the scene shows at least two vehicles, one of which is a BMW, appear to be involved in the crash on Botany Road near the intersection with Mirrabooka Avenue.
Police and Saint John Ambulance were at the scene at about 3.50pm today.
A police spokesperson says police were notified of the two-vehicle crash on Botany Road at around 3.59pm.
“Two people were checked by medical services for injuries, neither appeared to be in a serious condition.
“One lane of Botany Road was blocked but has since reopened.”
The incident follows another crash in east Auckland earlier today.
Police were called following a report of a crash on Bucklands Beach Road at about 12.27am.
“It appears a vehicle has collided with a stationary vehicle,” a police spokesperson says.
“One person received minor injuries and enquiries are ongoing.”
