The Pakuranga Croquet Club invites anyone – individuals, couples or families – interested in participating in a sport that provides both physical and mental exercise in a friendly social atmosphere to come and try this challenging and intriguing sport of golf croquet.
Croquet requires strategy, judgement and skill rather than strength or fast reflexes. It is ideal for players of all ages, whether male or female. Advanced members take it very seriously, but most club members see it as a relaxing and friendly way to exercise and socialise. A handicapping system ensures that players of all abilities have a good chance of winning games. Coaching is available for those who are interested.
If you are interested in trying golf croquet, please come along to one of our Club days (Monday, Wednesday, Friday or Saturday at 9.00 am). You will be made very welcome. All you need initially are flat soled shoes and casual dress. Mallets are available to borrow.
Also, why not hold your meeting, team building exercise or social event in our Clubroom.
A fun way to celebrate your function would be to play golf croquet on our lawns at Lloyd Elsmore Park. After a few minutes of coaching, provided by one of our members, you and your guests will be able to play. Our Clubhouse has full kitchen and toilet facilities and can accommodate 40-50 people comfortably.
