Pakuranga United Netball Club is seeking a Director of Netball to lead the participation and performance of our Netball program. The Director of Netball will work closely with the General Manager and the wider netball committee and be responsible for facilitating participation and management of the netball club.
We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
• Previous experience within a sports coaching, management or administration environment would be an advantage (particularly Netball)
• Commercial acumen
• Strategic thinking
• Strong planning and organization
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to build trust, consensus and maintain strong relationships
This is a part time role with flexible hours.
The high-level view of responsibilities
• Execute the strategic development of the Club
• Organize and lead the netball committee
• Forecast, organize and drive recruitment
• Organize musters, trials and team formation
• Organize coaches and umpires for teams
• Lead sponsorship and fundraising efforts
