Sunnyhills Tennis Club
We aim to build a positive club spirit by giving opportunities across all junior levels, encouraging participation and enjoyment of tennis in a fun and friendly environment. We offer tennis for all levels and abilities with our Junior Hot Shots group coaching sessions in Terms 4 and 1 that cater for children ages 5-18 and are included with an annual membership. Older children can continue to play socially or choose to compete in the Auckland Interclub competition. We also run user-pays coaching sessions over the Winter months, accompany juniors to out-of-town tournaments and offer a multi-sport holiday program each school break.
We have a fun Midweek Ladies group that holds many popular social tennis events throughout the year and has a strong presence in the Midweek Ladies Interclub competition run on Mondays and Tuesdays. Our Midweek social day is held on a Wednesday morning and welcomes all levels and abilities to join in.
For the adults, Sunnyhills also has many senior Interclub teams catering for all levels as well as social play. During the summer months we have Mad Men on a Monday evening and Mixed Doubles on a Wednesday evening. Year-round we have Sunday Social play fortnightly in the afternoons.
