Donations are needed to help make the biggest annual event for young bookworms in east Auckland a success.

The Rotary Club of Howick’s Bookarama 4 Kids & Teens Sale is staged from July 10-12, the first week of the school holidays.

The club’s president-elect Rob Mouncey says donations of children’s and teen’s books, games, toys and puzzles are “urgently needed”.

People can drop off donations to numerous collection points around the local community.

They’re at Howick Village Optometrists at 94 Picton Street, Grasslands Howick at 209 Moore Street, PlaceMakers at 481 Pakuranga Road, The Café Botany Downs inside Danske Mobler at Botany Town Centre, and Farm Cove Intermediate School at 16 Butley Drive.
