The Auckland Home Show returns this week at ASB Showgrounds, Greenlane and runs through till Sunday, with more than 50,000 visitors expected to visit the more than 500 exhibitors on show.
The show has filled the ASB Showgrounds to capacity, with all 10,500 square metres of space packed with products and services on offer, generating an estimated $60 million revenue over the five days of the show.
Key areas as always are kitchens and bathrooms with every possible shape and size of kitchen, bath, tap, cooker or dishwasher on show, whether for a Tiny House, apartment or mansion.
This year the garden is back with a vengeance. Outdoor Ideas by Auckland Landscape Supplies brings all the inspiration and knowhow, with an inspirational collection of 15 different landscape suppliers showcasing a variety of landscaping products, materials and techniques.
The ever-popular ‘Ask the Building & Renovation Experts’, is a specialised free consultation service with Finesse Residential – an outstanding opportunity to bring your ideas, plans and inspiration and sit down with an expert to discuss them.
And with a resurgence in colour and wall-coverings, design advice has never been more important, with the ‘Design Renovate Decorate’ seminar series sponsored by Resene, providing inspiration, ideas, knowledge and know-how to complete any renovation or decoration project.
The Street, sponsored by Barfoot & Thompson, is a full-scale walk-through feature of the latest innovations in landscaping, materials, plants and innovative, cost-effective portable home concepts – with fully landscaped sections, gardens and water features by the talented landscape designers from Cubag and Greenroom Projects, with plants by Hire Plants.
And for the final touches on that new home build or renovation, Home Security needs have combined with new technology trends to create a vibrant new category, Home Automation, which is growing dramatically in both scale and variety at the Auckland Home Show.
