Covid-19 has not deterred east Auckland’s community radio station from broadcasting and having its annual Christmas get-together.
With the sun shining outside the studio, there was plenty of merriment going on as everyone caught up face-to-face with one another, including the 30+ volunteer DJs.
It’s good for local people to hear familiar and friendly voices on the airwaves. East FM can also be heard at www.eastfm.nz.
