CHERRY BOMB: This image shows the technical exploration of the motion of water. Visually you can see two crystal like objects due to the technique applied to this shot but this is a juxtaposition of matter. When the surface of the water is broken, we see the liquid motion being brought to life in contrast to the solid glass. The halo is created as an effect of the cherry tomato breaking the surface of the water at high speed like a bomb to earth.

I took this photo to explore the idea of being trapped, especially inside the thoughts of one's self. The glass representing the person and the darkness of the hands is the person's negative thoughts.

ONE NIGHT IN TAIWAN: This photo was taken in 2018 in Taipei, Taiwan. It was a quiet night while I was walking on the footbridge on the way to the train station. I saw dim lights come from the adverts and the people were waiting at the bus stop. It reminded me this kind of photo can be a street photograph. I decided to take a shot and check the details of the image closely. The result came out perfectly because the image indicates the time from the low lighting and the mood from the people.

MASON AND MICHAELA: In these paintings, I was looking at the interior of these two people, who are very close to me, through the application of paint. I am intrigued by identity and what makes up a person. The painting of Michaela, my sister, through her portrait I am painting her character and her youth. This is almost a reflection of my anxieties of her growing older. In the painting of Mason, I was intrigued by his vulnerabilities and tried to capture his exact likeness.
