The public has three opportunities to get up-to-date information on the progress of the Eastern Busway.

Steven Power, structures manager for the Eastern Busway Alliance, is due to give a presentation on Rā Hihi (Reeves Road flyover) and how traffic will flow to and from Pakuranga Road to the South-Eastern Highway once construction is completed.

Power’s presentation is on Wednesday, April 2, at 10.30am at Pakuranga Library, where everyone is welcome, and tea and coffee will be available.

The Eastern Busway Alliance is also inviting interested people to two information forums it’s holding.

“You’re welcome to pop in and talk to the project team about the Eastern Busway project and changes taking place this year on Tī Rākau Drive,” says the Alliance.

The public information sessions are at Botany Town Centre near Farmers on Wednesday, April 2, from 1pm to 3.30pm, and at Edgewater Shopping Centre on Thursday, April 10, from 4pm to 6.30pm.

“When the Eastern Busway is completed, it will improve how the transport network runs, with efficient use of roads and more travel options for people to choose from,” says the Alliance.

“Thank you for your patience while we build the Eastern Busway. We look forward to seeing you soon.”
