The stars were aligned as a local Light shone ahead of Matariki on June 28.
“We attended the official blessing and unveiling of the signage for the Matariki Legacy Project at Mission Heights,” Howick Local Board chairperson Damian Light, says.
“The beautiful signage features artwork from students and details about the surrounding planting.”
Providing information about a future forest at Mission Heights School, the recently unveiled signage is part of a collaboration involving schools, Pest Free Howick Ward and Arts Out East.
