To support the SwapKit Mobile Phone Recycling Programme, the Howick Village Association [HVA] is collecting unwanted mobile phones for this appeal.
Mobile phones can be dropped to HVA offices (behind the War Memorial Building in the Market Square) during business hours.
“International E-Waste Day is coming up on October 14.”
“We would like to ask businesses, organisations and the general public for their support by donating any unwanted mobile phones to help raise funds for Sustainable Coastlines and raising awareness around e-waste,” said Jane Newbury, Howick Village Association manager.
