Eighteen-year-old Michelle Isemonger won the title last Saturday after six months of charity fund-raising.
She held many events and bucket collections after school, working to support Ronald McDonald House.
At the start of next year she will begin preparation for the Miss New Zealand title.
Meanwhile her ambition is to achieve a Bachelor of Business in Economics and Finance.
