How many times have you thought to yourself, should I go to a salon?
I need a touch up of colour in my hair or I have to attend a wedding and need help with my makeup, but do not know where to go.
You search online but are always unsure where to go. Well, I have just made your life so much easier, go to Pure Beauty and Hair Salon!
Kuljit Kaur, owner of Pure Beauty and Hair Salon, welcomed us into her salon.
I took one glance around the room, the green and gold natural theme felt very welcoming. With its soothing and calm ambience.
Kuljit started her business on 19th September 2020 and has been open for four very successful years.
She started her career as one of the staff members working at Shahnaz Husain Hair & Beauty Care.
Unfortunately, after a few years, Kuljit’s back health restrained her from working.
But her passion for beauty & hair care was so strong that she took on the challenge of working from home. She started with a chair and mirror in her garage.
And now is the wonderful and proud owner of Pure Beauty & Hair Salon, located on Botany road.
She faced the challenge of starting her business during Covid which she was hesitant about, but her hard work and effort really paid off.
Kuljit welcomes her customers with open arms and treats her colleagues like family she states: “When I’m in the salon working, we all are one big family”.
Their most popular services are hair services, facial & massages. The ‘pure’ in the name represents the products used.
They are 100% organic and are sourced from quality suppliers in NZ, Canada & India.
Some of them come from Ayurveda and are great for holistic health.
These natural products are available to buy from the salon as well. She spends a lot of time training her staff with the latest techniques.
Her biggest successes are the reviews she has got online. The customers love the service quality, soothing environment and a friendly smile. She hopes to open many more salons in the future.
Her message for the Times readers is “always be positive and hard working!”
Be Proud, Be You.
