Counties Manukau Police are advising road-using commuters to expect delays following a motor vehicle crash on Redoubt Road earlier this morning.
At about 2.15am on Tuesday, Police say emergency services responded to a report of a motor vehicle crashing into a power pole on Redoubt Road at Totara Park.
Police say the driver of the vehicle was uninjured.
However, powerlines were brought down which caused a small fire.
Redoubt Road has been closed since the incident while the scene is cleared.
Traffic diversions are in place and motorists are advised to seek an alternative route or expect delays, Police say.
