Emergency services are this afternoon responding to reports of an alleged stabbing in Pakuranga Heights.
An injured man presented himself at a property in Jade Avenue and claimed to have been stabbed. He’s been taken to hospital for medical treatment.
Police and St John Ambulance paramedics responded to the incident.
Jade Avenue was cordoned off after the alleged stabbing.
A police spokesperson told the Times: “Police are making enquiries after a man presented outside a residential address in Pakuranga Heights with injuries this afternoon.
“Police were contacted at around 3.50pm and attended Jade Avenue.
“The man has since been transported to Middlemore Hospital in a serious condition.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of what has occurred.”
