Police want to hear from anyone with information after a violent home invasion in east Auckland last night – July 25 – left a victim injured.
A police spokesperson says investigations are continuing following the violent aggravated robbery in Flat Bush.
“At 10.18pm, police received a call stating two males armed with a firearm had smashed their way into a Chianti Close address and seriously assaulted one of the occupants.
“The males reportedly assaulted the victim before taking a couple of items and fleeing the address in a vehicle prior to police arrival.
“The victim was transported to hospital with moderate injuries.
“Police located a vehicle a short time later which may be linked and it has since been towed for forensic examination.
“Police are working hard to identify and locate those responsible.
