Pakuranga Choral Society commemorates the end of World War I in a concert on August 26 devoted to music of the period, and some recent New Zealand compositions.
In tandem with guests Howick Brass, the concert will feature music by Anthony Young and David Hamilton, alongside music from 1914-1918.
There will even be a chance for audience to sing-along with some well-known songs of the period.
- The venue for this special concert is East City Wesleyan Church at 219 Burswood Drive, East Tamaki. Concert starts at 2.30pm. Tickets available at the door.
