A vehicle was involved in an accident on Cook St on Sunday 8 September, causing extensive damage to property and infrastructure.
In a statement received by the Times, Police advised they “were notified of a single-vehicle crash on Cook Street in the early hours of Sunday morning.

A member of the public reported the incident at 12.50am on Sunday where it appeared the car had collided with a wall.
The two occupants were taken to Middlemore Hospital, though injuries not thought to be serious”
Police inquiries into the crash are continuing.
