Police say they have tracked down a man who crashed into four parked motor vehicles in Highland Park last Saturday evening.
Counties Manukau Police told the Times a 24-year-old man has been summoned to appear in the Manukau District Court.
The charge is for driving with excess breath alcohol in relation to the incident.
On Monday, police said that enquiries were continuing following the crash in Highland Park, to understand the circumstances surrounding the incident.
They say at about 7.26pm on September 28, police officers responded to a report of a vehicle crashing into four parked cars on Aviemore Drive.
No one was injured, police confirmed.
