A man has been taken to Middlemore Hospital in a stable condition with a gunshot wound after an altercation in Flat Bush overnight.
Detective Senior Sergeant Darrell Harpur said a man and woman arrived back to their home in Dunaff Pl shortly after midnight and were confronted by an armed male in their driveway.
Police are still working to establish what exactly occurred and will carry out a scene examination and forensic testing.
