Dannemora Gardens Metlifecare Retirement Village celebrated its 20th Anniversary with a ‘Bubbles & Canapés’ event on November 24 with more than 150 in attendance.
The village was originally owned by Vision and officially opened by Barry Curtis, Mayor of Manuaku City in 2002.
It then became part of the Metlifecare franchise about 10 years ago and now has more than 200 independent residents in lifestyle apartments.
Invited guest Damian Light, Howick Local Board chair, had the honour of cutting the cake and enjoyed talking with the residents.
