Auckland Police says they’re now able to publicly release the name of the man who was killed following a collision between a train and motor vehicle in Penrose last Friday.
Police say he was Sarveen Singh, aged 40, of Auckland.
“Our thoughts and sympathies are with his family at this difficult time.”
The crash remains under investigation, police say.
The incident occurred at the level crossing on Maurice Road at around 2pm on April 4 near the intersection with Station Road.
