The weather may not show it, but some plants do – springtime has arrived in east Auckland.

Though officially Sunday the first of September is the first day of spring, the cherry blossoms have already burst forth in glamorous pink.

Also, some flowers have arrived and trees are slowly but surely regrowing their leaves.

The temperature around here is slowly rising back to summer’s heat!

So goodbye winter and hello spring!
