Auckland Rugby have announced the Auckland Under 85kg team for the 2022 representative season.
The 27-player squad – which includes five players from Pakuranga United Rugby Club – will play against Waikato, Counties Manukau and North Harbour before a finals day on Saturday, October 1.
The players from Pakuranga are Rory Cavanagh, Jeandre Du Toit, Stephen Edwards, Logan Kinnear and Riki McGregor, all members of Pakuranga United Panthers.
The side beat Waikato 85s 21-11 in Hamilton in the squad’s first match.
Their second match against Counties at the weekend saw Auckland come out on top 31-28 in Pukekohe.
