Beachlands’ golfer Ryan Fox heads into the Irish Open today with some confidence after a sizzling top three finish in Germany last weekend.
Fox, in his third season on the European Tour, finished third at the BMW International Open in Munich recording 20 under – just 2 shots off the winners – to collect €126,000 ($211,747).
Fox said on his social feed, “Another great week here in Germany. @bmw_golfsport always puts on a fantastic event and this year was no different. Disappointed to come up a couple short but proud of how I played while feeling a bit under the weather on the weekend.”
It follows some very strong finishes in the last few weeks including a second equal placing in the Soudal Open in Belgium in May (€166,385.52) and a second in the Dutch Open in the Netherlands just two weeks later (€192,500).
Fox is now ranked 56th in the Official World Golf Ranking – up from 67th last week and 213th at the end of 2021 – and 7th on the DP World Tour Ranking.
