We are now back at level 2.5 and we welcome the new normal.
Our offices are now open and, like all businesses at this level, we will restrict the number of visitors at any one time. We look forward to supporting our local businesses, many of whom have adapted well to the new norm.
Our walkers have been doing a wonderful job each week getting the Tuesday papers to you despite the most dreadful weather through this lockdown.
Well done to them. Last Tuesday was particularly bad and I well remember when my children did paper rounds – we, as parents on bad weather days, were there delivering as well.
We have had lots of calls and emails thanking us for continuing to publish during these uncertain times. Always nice to hear.
Here are a couple we received last week.
- A good effort to get a newspaper out yesterday – and it reads well too. Rev Dr Richard Waugh
- I’m encouraged every time I check my post-box and see the Times that things are feeling a little more ‘normal’!! Ian Dickinson
