I have lived in the Howick/Botany area my entire life.
Like you I believe this is the best area within Auckland to live and raise a family.
I am proud to have had a quality start to life through having attended Botany Downs Primary, Howick Intermediate and Howick College.
I have fond memories growing up of my Saturday mornings during winter spent being part of a team playing rugby at
Lloyd Elsmore Park for the Pakuranga United Rugby Club.
It has been great to be able to share many of the childhood experiences I had growing up in this area with my own children today.
Enjoying our awesome beaches, riding bikes around the streets, and sharing a meal at local food businesses.
Previously I have owned and operated two hospitality businesses within the area for over a decade.
I will bring a business perspective to local council matters as well as a local resident perspective.
I hold a Bachelor of Business in Accounting and Commercial Law and have experience serving on an executive committee for a local organisation.
I believe east Auckland needs further investment into public transport options that are reliable and affordable. We must make it easy for our residents to move in and around the greater Auckland area.
If elected I will advocate strongly for affordable rates and financial accountability.
I would also like to see community assets such as a Library and Community Centre for the rapidly growing area of Flat Bush/Ormiston at the forefront of local planning.
