Four students, part of Bucklands Beach Intermediate’s Inspiring Leadership Group, were encouraged to fundraise for those less fortunate people, especially in winter time.
These four students – Hannah Lu Wellnitz, Mulan Chan-See, Ivan Yun and Andrew Chen – took the initiative and organised a bake sale with the kind support from Botany Town Centre.
The home-baked treats, mainly made by the students themselves (with the help of mums and dads occasionally), were delightful and delicious and the public were generously supportive.
The total proceeds were $125 as a result of the students selling hard for almost four hours.
