Macpac break-in, no cash taken

Outdoor clothing store Macpac was the target of a break-in at Botany Town Centre on Tuesday morning, and remained closed to the public for the rest of the trading day.

Detective Sergeant Richard Bull confirmed four male offenders smashed the front window of the store just before 1am.

Items of clothing were stolen, but no cash was taken from the premises.

The store re-opened on Wednesday morning.

Police say the offenders left the scene in two silver vehicles, and are urging anyone with information to contact Counties Manukau Police on 261-1300.
