A Highland Park man died on Saturday after becoming trapped under his car.
At the time of going to press, police had not yet released the man’s name.
They confirmed at the weekend that his next-of-kin had been notified.
Police said in a media statement that initial reports suggest the man was pushing a vehicle down a driveway about 12.15pm when he somehow became trapped underneath it.
Emergency services were called to the incident on private property. The death has been referred to the Coroner.
