With Maori Language Week just around the corner, Howick Library is hosting a Te Reo Maori for Beginners class on Friday September 16 from 10.30am-11.30am.
The free session will be of basic Te Reo pronunciation with Whaea Taini Drummond.
Maori Language Week (September 12-19) is an annual celebration that aims to inspire New Zealanders to speak the Maori language proudly.
The celebration is part of a larger effort to revitalise the Maori Language.
