The two heavyweight favourites in the Auckland Mayoral contest will be in Botany this month.
Mayoral frontrunners Phil Goff and John Tamihere will be hosted at the LifeGrowth Community Trust’s Meet the Auckland Mayoral Candidates Event on September 24.
The candidates will be debating their vision and plans for Auckland and Aucklanders. Lloyd Wong the facilitator for the forum, says, “Both Goff and Tamihere are real politicians, clearly unafraid of a political scrap, who have honed their skills in central government and continuing to make a difference in Auckland local government affairs,” said Wong.
“Everyone should come along to the Botany event, not only to listen to this intriguing heavyweight contest but to engage these well-known politicians with meaningful questions.“One of these two candidates will surely be the next Auckland Mayor so submit your questions to us. Who will you pick?”
