Police this morning responded to a serious two-vehicle crash on Pakuranga Road, Pakuranga, near to the Panmure Bridge.
The crash involved a car and a motorbike and was reported to police around 6.37am.
One person was taken to hospital in a critical condition.
Diversions were in place and motorists were advised to avoid the area.
