The northbound lane on Springs Road in East Tamaki has been closed following a three-vehicle crash near Kerwyn Avenue at around 7:05am today.
Police said one person received serious injuries and a second person has minor injuries.
The Serious Crash Unit will be investigating.
Diversions are being put in place. Another accident has been reported by a Times staff member at the intersection between Botany Town Centre and The Hub.
