In the season of giving, Takutai Charitable Trust is holding a food drive tomorrow that will see Beachlands and Maraetai compete in ‘Battle of the Bridges’.
On Saturday December 18 between 11am-4pm at the car park outside Franklin Bar locals will be able to donate canned or non-perishable foods in the Beachlands or Maraetai trolley.
On Sunday December 19, the Trust will take to take to the streets in a ‘Battle of the Streets’. Collection points will be set up in local streets.
