After almost three months of growing, a winner was crowned for the great Apothecary tomato growing competition on Monday.
First place was taken by Steve Lloyd with a controversial green beefsteak tomato, breaking the 250g mark on the scale.
Steve took away the top prize of a $150 bar tab to accompany the first ever Apothecary tomato competition trophy.
Second place was won by An Lam, taking away a $75 bar tab and third place, Tania Brunton winning a $25 bar tab.
A great initiative from the Apothecary Licensed Eatery that is sure to bring out the community’s competitive side for years to come.
