Thank you to the person who carved a love heart into the sand at Mellons Bay Beach last Saturday, March 19.
That morning, I had been invited out for a drive and to brunch.
I set out to the marina, looking forward to the idea of a new friend, as I am new to the area.
But he was a no show!
Not feeling sorry for myself, just being aware of the emotions that were flooding in.
I thought I had better aim for a beach – any beach will do in a storm – with my ever faithful dog.
There, I came across a beautifully simple gesture someone else had left in the sand.
To my complete joy, the words “U R LOVED” spoke straight to my heart …like a whoosh of healing and I was immediately comforted.
So I’m just saying thank you to that generous soul, who carved this in the sand. ‘U R LOVED’.
