More revelations that Auckland Council is in greater financial trouble is no surprise – after a decade of financial mismanagement, millions wasted on vanity projects and poor leadership, Aucklanders are left to foot the bill yet again.
Goff wasted $935k on a secret report for a waterfront stadium that we don’t need nor can afford. Now he’s busy selling our local parks to balance the books and even that’s not enough.
I love this city, I just wish all our councillors cared just a little bit more. Some professional discipline wouldn’t hurt either.
