Here’s hoping our first monthly edition will give readers a thirst for more because the SOUTH team is full of enthusiasm for this new, complimentary, monthly magazine which puts lifestyle to the fore.
We have tried to cover as many bases as possible offering readers a taste of fashion, travel, health and beauty, books, social events and a little motoring too.
Our profile on Mauku water colourist Claudia Slaney is a hint at things to come – a look at the arts, in general, with a focus on people who have made their mark, locally, nationally and internationally but have special links to our wider district – Franklin and beyond.
SOUTH is all about the good life which I know local residents can attest to – after all that’s why we chose to make our home in this wonderful locality – gateway to Waikato and southern regions, yet a place where urban style and country attributes are a match.
