“I’m late, I’m late…for a very important date!”
Join Alice, the White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter and the Queen of Hearts and fall down the rabbit hole this week with Children’s Musical Theatre Studio.
Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Jr will be held at Harlequin Musical Theatre from 18 April – 22 April.
The cast is made up from 8-12 years inclusive and many of them have performed in previous Childrens Musical Theatre Studio shows.
Last year, Hairspray Jr was staged and two of the children (who are also in Alice in Wonderland) were nominated for Best Youth Performer (female) and Best Youth Performer (Male) for the Northern Area Performing Theatre Arts. Bowen McBride, who plays the White Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland won the Best Youth Performer (male) for his performance as Edna in Hairspray Jr.
Alice in Wonderland has drawn over 60 children from the local area as well as Clevedon and the greater Eastern suburbs. There are a number of children in the show who are siblings, including a set of identical twins.
