There was a great turnout for the annual Point to Pub race on Howick Santa Parade Day on Sunday December 8
150 took part, first home was Nick Luksich with a time of 30m21s and second was Connor Boulton who is only 12 with a time of 31.58.
First lady was Kirsty Halliday in 37.25.
It was a great day with the youngest competitor being 6 and the oldest being 76. “We had 25 children under 15 run along with a baby in a buggy and a dog that had to be carried up the hills,” said Barry O’Shaughnessy from the Prospect of Howick pub.
“A great day had by all.”
Meanwhile, Cross fit won the team prize. “They took first and second as they had that many runners,” said Barry.
