For some time, I have been following this sorry saga where those we elected to make decisions for Howick are struggling to resolve the use of this building over a protracted period.
Perhaps we are not being told the full story?
Each time I’ve read an article in the Times, when a motion is moved to hand over the management of the Howick War Memorial Hall, it seems David Collings has moved an amendment which has prevented it happening.
In the interest of transparency, it would be good if David Collings could explain to the ratepayers what the perceived problems are with regard to the motions thus far.
Over to you David Collings.
