Police have taken a man into custody near Bleakhouse Road in Howick this afternoon, October 4, following an earlier road-rage incident.
A police spokesperson says reports were received after 5.18pm when the incident occurred on Te Irirangi Drive near Botany Town Centre.
“At this point we have established a driver of one vehicle fired a gas-powered pistol toward another vehicle.
“No one has sustained injuries and no damage has been reported.
“Police took the driver into custody in the Howick area a short time later.
“He’s being spoken to and charges are being considered.
“Police are also speaking with the other party to establish exactly what has taken place this evening.”
