Epsom Girls’ Grammar School took out the top spot in the open section National Final for Showquest, the country’s largest performing arts competition for schools.
The winning school based their performance piece on the story of Frida Kahlo.
The team said they had felt inspired to look beyond her painting into her life of duality and to celebrate her incredible life and the artistic legacy she left.
Showquest producer Kelsey Moller says Showquest entrants this year have shown great enthusiasm in creating, performing and sharing their stories on stage.
