Vax centre at tennis club

Howick Tennis Club is hosting a Covid-19 vaccination event.

Howick Tennis Club is hosting a Covid-19 vaccination event on Saturday.

It will run from 10am to 12:30pm at the clubrooms on the corner of Wellington and Howe Street in Howick.

A club spokesperson said the vaccination event is open to Howick Tennis Club members, friends, staff and their households.

“If you can make an appointment, it helps with planning, but you can also drop in anytime in the allotted timeframe. Walk-ins are welcome.” the spokesperson said.

“This is to make it as easy as possible for all Kiwis to access vaccinations.

“Bring your whānau or flatmates, everyone over the age of 12 in your bubble who needs their first or second dose.

“If this is your second Covid vaccination, you must have had your first dose before September 18.”

Masks must be worn.

“Signage will direct you to the location and strict health and safety protocols prescribed by the Ministry of Health will be in place to ensure everyone’s safety,” the spokesperson said.

“Please do not come in for your vaccine if you are sick or if you have been asked to self-isolate.”

  • Go to https://bookmyvaccine.covid19.health.nz/. Click Book your vaccine. Use the code XF1CYGSOED under Access Code (this is unique to Howick Tennis Club invitees).
  • Complete a separate booking for everyone in your household, using the same Access Code. “There are several places per time slot, but if you are unable to book all your household for the same time, please book for the next closest time and the team will accommodate you together on the day.”
